Indian Gaming Industry Expected to Be Well Represented at Global Gaming Expo

Washington, DC - September 22, 2016 - With the world's largest gaming show scheduled to kick-off next week in Las Vegas, Nevada, gaming professionals, experts, local and national leadership are expected to attend and take the stage, to bring gaming to the forefront.  The annual Global Gaming Expo (G2E) is scheduled for September 27 - 29, 2016 at the Sands Expo and Convention Center.

One of the highlighted panels G2E is presenting will bring Chairman Ernie Stevens, Jr. and American Gaming Association (AGA) President and CEO Geoff Freeman together in a session titled "Stronger Together: Gaming Ties that Bind."  The presentation scheduled for Tuesday, September 27 at 8:45am at the Sands Expo and Convention Center.  The one-hour discussion will be centered around the structural differences between the two gaming organization, discuss insights into issues facing gaming today and how the partnership makes the entire gaming industry stronger.

Chairman Stevens said about the panel, "Overall the gaming industry has been a substantial economic force in the United States for many years.  It is important to expand upon the great partnership we have with the American Gaming Association in dialogue to not only educate the audience about the differences and benefits of each of our gaming organizations, but to discuss the expansion of our partnership to further strengthen the industry as a whole."

Also on Tuesday, September 27 at 11:00am, Chairman Stevens will moderate the "Tribal Gaming Roundtable," which will explore Indian gaming issues, understand the impact of leaders' decision on Indian County and identify ways to contribute to the Tribal gaming industry.  The panel will include Brian Patterson, Chairman of the United Southeast Tribes (USET), Bobby Soper, President of the Mohegan Tribal Gaming Authority and Louis Manuel, Chairman of the Arizona Indian Gaming Association.
